What comes to your mind when you are asked for a non-vegetarian dish? For me the solution would clearly be Chicken. Whether it is a chicken soup or a chicken curry, the taste is unbeatable. For this reason I wanted to build a chicken coop of myself. So I started researching about the ways to build a chicken coop and also about the various breeds of chicken that are available in the market. I found that for urban environments a coop made up of plastic called the Eglu would be best suited. It is necessary that you choose the right breed of chicken depending upon your requirement. There are many chickens that look healthy but they have a diminished egg laying capacity. Others may give a lot of eggs each day. So, choosing a chicken breed to raise is a matter of what you want to do with it. Apart from this weather is also an important consideration for choosing the correct breed. For example, Red is resistant to cold temperatures and are easy to tame. If you want a breed that can lay you good number of eggs then you can go for Silkies and Pekins. So I would recommend the viewers to find a suitable breed for them .This is much healthier and also reasonably cheap.
